Give a Scholarship

APPLYING FOR A FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP ONLINE

Dear Student:
We appreciate your interest in applying for Foundation scholarships!

Please note: You cannot apply for scholarships supported by a relative, your employer or the employer of an immediate relative.

Any required documents must be mailed/delivered to the Foundation before your application is considered complete.

Scholarship Application Checklist

• Applicant must live within District #522 and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), unless noted otherwise in the scholarship criteria.
• Review the policies and procedures for applying.
• High school students must provide a copy of their 12th grade seventh semester transcript.
• GED graduates must provide proof of their GED test score.
• College transcripts must be provided, unless you are a current Southwestern student with at least one semester completed (minimum of twelve hours).
• Some scholarships also require information from outside sources and/or the completion of additional application forms such as FAFSA, COMPASS test or letters of recommendation.

For best selection opportunity, apply before March 1. Applications will be accepted until all scholarships have been awarded. Applications that are incomplete will be rejected.
